This week’s sermon, “If Anyone Thirsts” from John 7:37–52, explores Jesus’s bold invitation on the last day of the Feast of Booths, calling anyone whose soul thirsts, for forgiveness, peace, or purpose, to come and find satisfaction in Him alone. He promises that all who believe will receive the Holy Spirit, with “rivers of living water” flowing from their lives in love for God and others. Yet even as Jesus speaks with unmatched authority, the crowd remains divided, a reminder that belief in Christ is still where every soul must turn.
