In this sermon, “Where I Am,” from John 7:25–36, we see the crowds in Jerusalem divided over who Jesus really is. Some suspecting He might be the Messiah, others dismissing Him based on mistaken assumptions about His origins. Jesus boldly proclaims His mission from the Father, warning that those who reject Him will not be able to follow where He is going. This passage reminds us that Jesus’s boldness can be ours too, as we trust in God’s sovereign work to draw people to faith even as we’re called to share the Gospel.
